Climb the Harbour Bridge
Accompanied by a local guide you can climb this popular New Zealand bridge in 90 minutes. The bridge is a symbol for local New Zealanders and an amazing Auckland outdoor activity. 200 feet above the water, the bridge offers an amazing view on the city and the water. Many ships sail around the area of the bridge from all over the world. Architectural history is shared by one of the many guides who help you reach the top. It’s legendary. There is also a bungee jump available on a lower altitude.
Sailing
If you ever sailed before you should not miss doing this in Auckland. Auckland outdoor activities happen a lot along the water since New Zealand is – well, surrounded by it! Dolphin & Whale Cruise

Diving & Snorkeling
Unless you can’t swim you can’t leave New Zealand without having tried one of these! New Zealand and big parts of Oceania are famous for their colorful reefs which you can dive to. Try finding Nemo as you snorkel your way around this Auckland outdoor activity. Tauranga underwater center is famous for being a great diving company.
Kayaking
Kayaking is amazing in Auckland. Travel along the rivers of the island and make your way upstream for a nice picnic at a hill. Good times guaranteed! Don´t worry if you have never kayaked before, this is your time to try. Special courses are offered in many kayak places for beginners.
Kiwi Valley Farm Park
A great outdoor activity for the whole family! This farm is nicknamed the Farm of Old MacDonald. Over seven hectares of rural New Zealand are represented here. A great children’s outdoor activity as well, as the farm houses many goats, offers pony rides and has special shows for children. About 20 minutes south of Auckland.
